FAQ's

Q: How are products chosen for the catalog?

A: Products are selected by the technical and/or supply personnel most familiar with that product and industry. Some products meet specific environmental criteria which are shown by the inclusion of an ENAC (environmental attribute) code. Other products are listed based primarily on manufacturers' claims. The DLA personnel make the final decision on the environmental preferability of an item and whether it makes good business sense to list the product in the EP catalog.

Products that have an assigned ENAC code must meet one or more of the DLA "Approved Environmental Attributes." DLA Commodity Specialists, Item Managers and catalogers compare product performance and /or composition against the criteria approved by one or more of our Environmental Organization partners, reachable through hyperlinks on the GPP Approved Environmental Attributes site.

Q: Are all the products listed in the EP catalog approved for use in all processes?

A: No. As stated in the catalog, "Check with the process owner, engineering support activity, etc. before substituting an environmental product for a specified hazardous item."

Q: Does the price shown include delivery?

A: Yes. The prices shown include delivery to any US military or government base or installation worldwide. Local restrictions may apply.
